My life is the Bible for many non-believers. What am I telling them about Christianity? How am I showing them God’s love?

Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. —Matthew 22:37-39

So many lessons from today’s Holy Bible app’s scripture. But here’s a few I gleaned.

1) Give God your everything: finances, time, heart, attitude, relationships, problems, EVERYTHING. He can and wants to help us handle it.

2) Love your neighbors = all of Earth. Every last person. Democrat, republican, black, white, man, woman, sick, healthy, big, small, rich, poor, sinner, saint. Love them all.
I personally feel like I struggle with this one too and need to ask God for help on this one too.

3) Love yourself! You are the creation of God. One of his blessed children. And no matter how many times you mess up, he didn’t. He’s perfect. If He can love you, you can love you too :)

So that’s what I got from it, what did you all get?

Today I read Exodus 3, which is the story of the burning bush. And honestly, I think it’s really simple. So Moses was going along, God spoke to him, Moses listened, and God told him exactly what to do and what to say. It’s that simple. God speaks to us - even today! We just need to be listening. It might not be a burning bush or special angels in dreams, but He speaks to us. We just need to listen to what He is saying. Because He is trying to guide us do the exact right path for us :)

I read Proverbs 31 for my devotional today. Glad I did. I find it beautiful that the chapter begins with talking about the kind of man who will marry a noble wife - which he learned from his mother! But yes. This noble wife follows God’s path and God has blessed her with many traits. And while people always have qualms about the man being the “head” of the household (even though all of God’s children will be head and not tail), but in the household you need one head - and then one neck to hold the head up and point it in the right direction :] And this noble wife of God is also an entrepreneur. Miss Independent? Sorta. But God is the pilot of her plane on this flight of life and he controls where she stops and what passengers she picks up <3

Plus One - My Friend (by Illuminator96)

I don’t care how corny this sounds. But this is the song to which I rededicated my life to God. This is when I became a Born Again Christian. I was about 10 or 12 years old. My aunt had gotten me this CD for Christmas. I was listening to the whole thing (not just track #4  - My Life) through for the first time. And this was the last track on the album. The lyrics spoke to me. GOD is that friend for me - for all of us. He is ALWAYS there. And I realized that I always needed to be there for Him in whatever he asked me to do :)

Random. I had to take a picture of it before I moved out.
